RE: Possible traffic obstruction from protest march, 4-6 p.m.

The University of Texas Police Department has informed us that the Houston Palestinian Organization has issued a statement for a planned protest march today, Thursday, January 8, from 4-6 p.m. at Fannin and Holcombe in front of the Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) to protest Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip.

UT Police are working with TMC Security Services and local law enforcement to ensure the area is secure and to reduce the obstruction of traffic during rush hour.

Please be aware that traffic could be slowed or blocked during this time. Consider adjusting your routes if you wish to avoid this area.
